Variety brings us word of the casting:
Universal Pictures is looking to take its “Fast and Furious 6” baddie, Luke Evans, and have him play one of the horror genre’s greatest villains. The thespian is set star in “Dracula: Year Zero.”
Gary Shore is on board to direct with Michael De Luca producing. Alissa Phillips will serve as executive producer.
The story is a mix of mythology and true history as it follows the story of Prince Vlad, the inspiration for the Dracula character popularized by the Bram Stoker novel.
