The Dark Knight Rises (2012) - 30 Extra Minutes Of Footage?

Nuke The Fridge is reporting the following:
Sources have informed Nuke the Fridge that not only is a Director's Cut being developed by Warner Bros. for The Dark Knight Rises, but it's going to include Bane's origin plus a bit more screentime for Ra's Al Ghul (Liam Neeson) which were omitted from the current theatrical cut of the movie....According to our reliable spies...The new Director's Cut is said to make the film about thirty minutes longer.
Christopher Nolan's not known for editing out things, and his theatrical releases usually ARE his version of the director's cut. But the film does feel like some things might have been taken out. And as my favorite comic book shop owner, Rick, said once while discussing the film, "It really should have been two films: 1 1/2 hours of Knightfall followed by 1 1/2 hours of the No Man's Land".

What do you think?
