Let the Horror Channel blow away those post-Christmas blues this January, with a season of movies that are guaranteed to get every nerve in your body standing on end!
We're celebrating the work of body-horror specialist David Cronenberg and showcasing three of his most defining films in a season that can't fail to shock and awaken the senses. Shivers (12th), Rabid (19th) and The Dead Zone (26th) will all receive their Horror Channel premieres and are exclusively introduced by top horror directors Simon Rumley (Red White & Blue), Sean Hogan (The Devil's Playground) and Pascal Laugier (Martyrs).
Talking of Directors, Julian Richards, the man behind The Last Horror Movie (which is also showing this month), is hosting his own Director's Night on the 31st. His selection of movies are; The Devil Rides Out, Tenebrae and Switchblade Romance.
There's a coffin load of other premieres to look forward to so make sure you mark the first showings of Dream House (17th), The Hunt (18th), Escape From Mars (24th) and War Games: At The End Of The Day (25th) in your new diaries. January heralds the return of two daytime favourites to the Horror channel. Don't miss Xena: Warrior Princess Season 5 which can be seen at 9am and 6pm plus Angel Season 5 is at 3pm and 8pm.
