Rumor: Avengers Director's Cut Film To Go To Theaters

There's a rumor floating around that Marvel and Disney are planning to top their already record-breaking box office success with "The Avengers" by releasing a director's cut version of the film. The enhanced cut, which will include at least 30 minutes of footage that Joss Whedon had cut (and which will go back in for the DVD/BD release later this year). The plan is rumored to have the film coming out closer to the end of the summer movie season.
