Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) - Was There An Easter Egg In The First Film?

Comic Book Movie brings us the following:

Sebastian Stan says if you freeze the rescue scene in "Captain America: The First Avenger" there's a set piece that gives a clue to how Bucky survives to wreak havoc upon Captain America in present-day America. Also, Anthony Mackie teases an epic beatdown Cap puts on Frank Grillo's Brock Rumlow.

Sebastian Stan says there are clues in the "set pieces" of "Captain America: The First Avenger" that are responsible for his return as the Winter Solider in the sequel. He says to "freeze the rescue scene" (when Captain America rescues Bucky who's in the middle of being experimented upon by Arnim Zola) but he warns it's "very subtle."

Having not had a chance to verify this, I'm going to speculate that it's going to be Zola injecting Bucky with a version of the serum used on Schmidt/Red Skull. Since we know that it's the Super Soldier Serum that helped Cap survive being frozen at sea, it's only logical that something similar happened with Bucky when he froze in the river.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on 04 April 2014.

Zach Snyder confirmed one easter egg in the film that will connect Superman to the Dark Knight (via Collider):

The Wayne Enterprises logo is on a satellite that Zod destroys.

The Amazing Spider-man (2012) - Easter Egg Scene

At the very end of this clip we have Spider-man copping a very iconic pose as he's about to spin a web toward the camera. Supposedly there is an easter egg somewhere in this video sequence that's fairly hard to find given the low resolution. But in that shot there are a LOT of birds flying....and one possible signing of a VULTURE (or else I'm seeing things).

Cloverfield on Blu Ray: Does it still have the easter eggs?

Yep, it certainly does!

I had a copy on DVD after it was first released and found them all. But after losing it (I loaned it to someone and don't remember who and never got it back) I bought a Blu Ray copy to replace it. And when I watched it in high def for the first time (which was awesome) I then went to verify that the easter eggs were still there.

Also, not an easter egg per se, but did you notice that in the  opening sequence there's a quick flash of the Dharma Initiative logo in the bottom right corner of the screen? Specifically, the Pearl Station logo is displayed.

• Go to chapter selection for 13-16, then press up to highlight it. After sitting on that for 77 seconds a new chapter selection comes up for chapter 17.
• This contains "Supplemental Files" which include additional videos collected by the DOD:
• #USGX-8810-B467-144VD: Videos recorded by Jami Lascano (the cute chick who can be seen passed out on the during Rob's going away part) to her boyfriend Teddy, who was in Japan at the time.
• Only video 2, 5, 9 and 11 are playable. In the last one, when she's very hyper, she mentions going to Lily's part (the one for Rob).
• #USGX-8810-B467-34VD: If you select the right-most oval on the Slusho screen then you'll see a very Japanese commercial for Slusho.
• In scene selections, select scene 10 and click up twice. You'll see a red X appear. Select it and you can see the pre-CGI effects version of the tun scene. It includes giant Xs on the actors to represent where the parasites are going to be placed in the final product.
• Go to languages, select "Spanish" for subtitles and then click right. You'll see a big red helicopter appear. Selecting that takes you to a video of the cast and crew having fun saying "Rack 'em and pack 'em, we're phantoms in 15!"
